Privacy Policy

How JFIF to JPG handles your files and data. Images are converted in your browser and never uploaded.
Oct 13, 2026

The short version

JFIF to JPG converts images entirely in your browser. The files you choose are never uploaded to our servers, never stored, and never seen by us.

Your files

  • When you pick or drop a file, your browser reads it locally and converts it with JavaScript on your own device.
  • The converted image is created in your browser's memory and saved straight to your device when you click Download.
  • No image data, file names, or file contents are sent over the network. You can confirm this by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded — the converter keeps working.
  • Closing or reloading the page discards everything.

What we do not collect

  • We do not require an account, so we do not collect names, email addresses, or passwords.
  • We do not take payments.
  • We do not sell or share personal data.
